The Brazilian Tourist Board (EMBRATUR), the Brazilian Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Trade Association (ABETA), and the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) are honored to invite you on exciting trips to some of Brazil’s most beautiful nature destinations!

When?
Trips vary in length from 12 to 4 nights before the event. All the trips are scheduled to have your arrival in São Paulo on September 3rd, in time for the opening dinner of the Summit!
This means that the earliest departure is August 23rd and latest departure is on August 31, and you need to take the flight one day before.

What is not included?
- The travel expenses not included are mentioned on the trip program, as travel insurance, phone calls, personal expenses, alcoholic drinks, etc.
- Accommodation in São Paulo during the event.

Tour operators from all over the world interested in starting to sell ecotourism and adventure travel in Brazil, or wishing to expand its Brazil portfolio.

All Adventure Travel World Summit – South America delegates may participate in one of five adventure options on Sunday, September 7th – each within 130km from São Paulo City. Each of the Adventure Day options include transportation, adventure activity, and a packed lunch. Adventures are available on a “first in- first served” basis.

Rafting Juquiá River - Canoar Operator: Canoar, ABETA associate. www.canoar.com.br Where: Juquitiba Distance from de SP: 72 km Vacancies: 45 The traditional rafting point near São Paulo operated by Canoar, a rafting operator pioneer in Brazil. The Canoar base camp is a well structured and will offer Class-3 Juquiá rafting through wonderful Brazilian forests.
2.	Tree Rope Course - Adventure Park Operator: Adventure Park, ABETA associate www.adventurepark.com.br Where: Santa Isabel Distance from SP: 65 km Vacancies: 45 A thrilling tree rope course within untouched rain forest full of exotic plants and birds. This trip’s highlight is a 300-meter zipline over a waterfall. Nice restaurant and hikes all around.
3.	1km Zipline - Parque dos Sonhos Operator: Parque dos Sonhos, ABETA associate www.parquedossonhos.com.br Where: Socorro Distance from SP: 132 km Vacancies: 45 Anyone will enjoy “flying” across the valley on a 1-km zipline! Incredible scenery, high speed and professional operation within Parque dos Sonhos (Dream Park) which is one of the biggest adventure parks in Brazil with 10 other outdoor activities available (not included).
4.	Acquaride - Parque Monjolinho Operator: Parque Monjolinho www.parquedomonjolinho.com.br Where: Socorro Distance from SP: 130 km Vacancies: 16 Parque do Monjolinho offers an exciting Acquaride experience to the delegates in “Rio do Peixe”, Socorro. This activity takes approximately 1 hour and a half of adventure. The activity will be executed followed by specialized guides and safety equipments.
5.	Trekking - Trip on Jeep Operator: TRIP ON JEEP Ecoturismo www.triponjeep.com Where: São Lourenço da Serra Distance from SP: 60 km Vacancies: 42 The trip occurs in a nature reserve located in São Lourenço da Serra, localized around São Paulo city. The group is welcomed by a delicious breakfeast and gets to know about the local sustainable project, winner of Top Social Award 2008 from ADVB Brazilian Sales and Marketing Managers Association. Options of hikes with interesting points like suspension bridge, tibetan bridge, and all rainforest diversity. At the return, home-made lunchtime and then a local handicraftsman will give a short handcraft workshop. Among the options: preparing and planting native plants, manual loom, making candles. The handicraftsmen are livers of Itatuba Village, a place of artists, studios and local people involved with the ecotourism project.
6.	Sea Kayak - Cia Ecoturismo Operator: Cia Ecoturismo www.ciaeco.tur.br Where: Juquehy Distance from SP: 130 km Vacancies: 25 Those who choose this adventure will have to get up early to reach splendid Juquehy, a nice and charming beach situated at São Paulo’s North Shore. It is a 2-hour kayaking tour to surround islands next to the coastline. The dificulty is easy to moderate. Lunch will be served at Tuim Park, in preserved Rainforest. Options for hikes and canopy before heading back to São Paulo.
7.	Bike Riding - AuroraEco Operator: AuroraEco www.auroraeco.com.br Where: Center of São Paulo´s city Vacancies: 25 This adventure-race style excursion is a great way to discover Down Town São Paulo, its architectural and cultural treasures mixed with the lively daily life of the biggest city in South America. Auroraeco prepared this “unexpected” adventure specifically for Summit delegates. Lunch is included in a typical restaurant.
8.	Trekking/ Tree Rope Course - Portal Equilibrium Operator: Portal Equilibrium www.portaldoequilibrium.com.br Where: São Francisco Xavier Distance from SP: 137 km Vacancies: 42 The activities will take place in “Serra da Mantiqueira”, the highest mountain range of Brazil. It is a place with unique scenery and where strong efforts are being made with the local community. The group will participate in trekking and tree rope course activities, with a great view of the Mantiqueira´s Mountain Range.
